This orange wine is a blend of three native Hungarian grapes - Olaszrizling, Furmint and Juhfark - grown on the volcanic soils of Somló, Hungary's tiniest appellation. Soil is heavily composed of black basalt. Fermented spontaneously with native yeasts on the skins in large used Hungarian oak. Skin contact for an additional 6 months in barrel. Amber-colored, with powerful flavors like walnut, salt and tangerine peel. Organic farming. 2000 bottles produced.
