VILLAERA I

Villa Tolnay is located at the foot of the volcanic Csobánc hill, on the northern shore of Lake Balaton in western Hungary. The ancient volcanic soils and primeval sediments of the former Pannonian Sea give the wines an unmistakably volcanic expression, with distinctive minerality and vibrant acidity.

This is a Solera celebrating the 20th vintage from Villa Tolnay, comprised of Furmint, Riesling and Olaszrizling from the 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 vintages. The wine is floral and mineral, with yellow flowers, pear, lime, red apple and salt. Spontaneous fermentation and aging in stainless steel (50%) and 750-1800 L Stockinger barrels (50%) for 1-5 years. Organic farming, vegan.
